How We Met
We met at the University of Rochester, where we studied Economics and Finance. During our graduation ceremony, we realized we were both heading to New York City for our first jobs out of school. We were excited to learn that we ended up in the same place and had our first date in Williamsburg overlooking the NYC skyline.
Our Story
After two and a half years in New York, we took the leap of moving to Boston together so Wil could pursue his dream of attending law school. We have built our lives together, moved to Mexico and back, and adopted our beloved son Chad. We’re lucky to be close to Wil’s family and have built a close community of friends.
Taking the Next Step
Wil proposed to Sofía in Iceland last fall. We decided to get married in Durango, where Sofia grew up. It has come to feel like a second home to Wil over the years visiting for holidays and celebrations because of how welcoming Sofia’s friends and family. We are excited to celebrate in this special place with the closest people in our lives.
